Speech, Language and Communication – Friendly Learning in Foundation Stage

Overview

Increase the knowledge, confidence and skills of early years colleagues, in differing settings, in relation to developing speech, language and communication in children from 0-5 years. Colleagues will increase confidence in what they are doing to support communication and language and also when discussing this with parents.

Objectives

The course:

  • shares knowledge and expertise regarding speech, language and communication between early years colleagues
  • develops the capacity of early years colleagues to support parents in the development of speech, language and communication in their children
  • improves outcomes for children in early years settings, 0-5 years, in the development of speech, language and communication
