Year 11 Maths Support
With the changing nature in the way that Mathematics is examined at GCSE, colleagues within the Trust have designed a toolkit to ensure that students in Year 11 are prepared, as much as possible.
Students need to be equally comfortable in the recall of standard mathematical processes as well as their practical applications (problem solving).
What you will receive
The Toolkit will provide revision material which is necessary for your students to be successful at all target grades (Grade 1/2/3, Grade 3/4/5, Grade 5/6/7 or Grade 7/8/9).
Each ‘digital workbook’ includes:
- a list of key topics necessary for success,
- revision material to practice the ‘core skill’,
- questions which require a ‘problem solving approach’
- links to revision videos
The ‘workbook’ can provide either a complete revision programme, or can supplement an existing one. The resources can be used in class, at home or in combination.
Trust schools benefit from the support and guidance offered by colleagues from the North Warwickshire and East Staffordshire Hub who have developed the toolkit.
Specialist Leaders in Education (Maths) are available to work with whole departments within the Trust schools or with individual teachers in workshops, observing lessons and providing feedback or being observed delivering lessons themselves.
Free to CAT schools
£350 per day SLE rates for non CAT schools.
